EGG NOODLE LASAGNA

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb extra lean ground beef
1 jar Healthy Choice spaghetti sauce
1 can mushrooms (optional)
12 oz. whole wheat or no yolk egg noodles
8 oz. low-fat sour cream
4 oz. low-fat cream cheese
Shredded cheddar

INSTRUCTIONS:
Brown ground beef and drain.

Combine with sauce and mushrooms.

Cook noodles, drain and combine with sour cream and cream cheese.

Layer noodles, beef 2 or 3 times.

Top w/ a light sprinking of cheddar cheese and bake at 350 for 30 min.

Add a green salad.

A gournet chef I am not. I’m also not a big fan of preparing 2 dinners, one that the children will eat
and one that is healthy for me.

So I try to compromise and make dishes that they will eat but aren’t loaded with fat, salt or sugar.
